Z refuses to sleep on this "vacation." at home he can wake up in the morning and fall back to sleep. Now as soon as his eyes crack open he hops out of bed to go play.

Just to let you know we are safe and sound in the Peacock household. Z covers his ears when he is overwhelmed. Poor kiddo fell asleep like that. I guess a flight, two hour drive, and going to sleep in a strange house was a little much for him.

Landed

We are safe and sound in Sacramento. Gotta rent a car and drive two hours still. Z had kind of a rough plane ride but we survived.

Swimmer

Z is having a blast swimming in the pool multiple times a day. The stairs are the perfect height for him to really get comfortable being submerged up to his neck. He has always been ok with going underwater but this week he started coming up laughing when he does go under.

1st airport

Just finished our first flight and watched what will be the beginning of many IPad shows. I have to say I am starting to get anxiety about traveling alone with Z.

Stickers

So, at the end of every gymnastics the kids have to sit and then they get stickers. At the start of gymnastics Z would not even come close to sitting and saying goodbye. Now he is the first one to sit down with his coach to get his stickers. It is pretty cute.

We had Z's last gymnastics class for a bit. Daddy came to play with Z too.

Z also loves to hang on the bars.

The rings!

The rings are by far Z's favorite thing at gymnastics. He has figured out how to twist them around, lift his feet, and spin all around.

Z kept motioning to the counter and I couldn't figure out what he wanted. I finally gave up and lifted him up to find his own snack. He was so excited, looked through all of his options, and chose a granola bar.

I have no idea who this little girl was, but Z loved her and she was happy to hold hands and spin around with him. It was really cute.
