Life is starting to get back to normal. We had our first playdate since Declan was born. Z is starting to get fussy being home so much so it is time for Mommy to schedule adventures!

Two week well baby

Well, we've done it again...we produced another big boy! We had Declan's two week check up and he is 22 inches, the 91st percentile, and 9 pounds 8 ounces, 71st percentile.

Baby Pool

There is a free public pool about three minutes from our house. It is perfect for quick afternoon trips to the pool.

Baby Drake!

Dane had her baby on Monday morning at 4:30! They are all doing well.

Daddy sitting

Zade kills me. I make him deal with both kids while I did some
Insurance paperwork. He managed to get Declan asleep and he and Z are cracking up watching YouTube. Puts me to shame...

Speech

Z playing with Lilly, his speech therapist. He loves her so much it is a problem, he cries so hard when she leaves every week.

Meeting Sister

Hayd and Declan finally got to meet. She was so helpful and Declan seemed to love being held by her.

The club got a ping pong table and Z loved it.

Our two little Nappers. They both like to take a long nap around 12:30. Today try napped for two hours together.

Oh boy

One of Z's favorite activities- dumping everything out! He loves emptying out all the bins on the changing table and if it means I can nurse in peace, I watch the destruction happen and deal later.

Chunker

The doctors like to see babies back to birth weight by two weeks. I weighed Declan today and he was 9lbs. 3oz. It looks like we have surpassed our goal. I don't think Z reached 9lbs. for two months!

Obviously I don't have this mothering two down quite yet...this is what happened while I was nursing today.

Z is super into brother today. I had Declan on the chair while I was straightening up and next thing I know, Z is climbing on him. He pointed to all his body parts so now we know we are the same. He even held him for a few seconds.

We are enjoying these newborn days while Declan sleeps a lot. It is nice because there is still lots of time to give Z one on one love too.

So sweet- Z put this little star down on brother. He was trying to share his toys! Right after he tried to share a little people airplane and almost clicked brother with it, at least he is trying though!

Very Serious...

Declan's eyes are definitely different than Z's. Z always had dark, pretty much black, eyes from the start. Declan's are gray. I am certain they will change but not sure what they will turn into.
