Happy Birthday Z!

Say it isn't so...our little Z man is two.  I don't even know where to begin with this post b/c I have such mixed emotions about Z getting older!  I am extremely grateful that I have been able to be with him for every exciting moment in his life thus far.  Time is flying by and I have loved everyday that I have spent with Z.  He is such a fun little guy.  Although he is still struggling with his speech he has matured leaps and bounds in other areas.  He is not shy at all when we go to our playgroups and gets right into the swing of things with his peers.  He still loves all things animals though has been showing slight interest in his trucks that have collected dust until recently.  His best friends are Ka'iwi and the twins, Mana & Kiawe.  He lights up when we meet them to play.  He is able to swim a few feet on his own underwater and is getting braver in the ocean, though he does prefer the pool.  Z is spoiled and still sleeps with us.  He loves to snuggle and has issues sleeping without someone to snuggle with.  He still loves all things fruit and prefers fruit for a snack above all else.  His favorite shows are Blues Clues, Sesame Street, and Yo Gabba.  And finally, Z has adjusted quite well to his new roll as big brother.  He doesn't get as excited about Declan as he does when he sees Hayden, but he is always content to have little brother cruising along.  We can't wait for another year of adventure with Z!

Turkey Day

Our first turkey day in our new home was perfect. I went to bed with a very warm heart and very aware of all the blessings life has given us.

Zade's college best friend has been visiting. His sons areas month shy of 3 years and 6 months old. Needless to say, Z had a blast playing with mercer. Their favorite activity was searching for snails.

This past weekend we went to the Harvest Fest at kula school. Z loved te jumpy castles.

Birthday prep

I started making things for Z's party. I can't wait for him to wake up from his nap that day to a house full of Sesame Street! First we have to get the house ready for 20 people on Thanksgiving though.
