We started this when we got Nui. Now we are using it to keep everyone in the loop with Z4. We will update as often as possible.

Montessori celebration
Still riding the train...we love this place. Z was totally thrilled by the whole experience.
Sitting in group.
Using the abacus to count the days of the month.
Sharing his book with his friends. With the help of one of the older boys in class.
A moment to snuggle.
All ready to do his three laps around the sun. I had to talk about his life during each year and lap.
Z was able to pick three kiddos to sit with at lunch. He has good taste- he picked the two of the cutest girls in the class!
I was struggling to contain Declan until I got him a chair, then he sat contently. (Prior to that he stole a hotdog from some poor little girl!)
Their wonderful classroom.
Z handing out his birthday cookies to his friends.

Healthy Cookies
Z's teacher discourages junk (and anything nonorganic or gmo) and tasks us with bringing a healthy cookie for birthday celebrations. I found a recipe for banana bread cookies. I started to make them after dinner and Z very eagerly asked to help. He attentively sat on the counter and asked about each ingredient. I measured and let him pour it in the bowl. It was super fun and I will now have to bake with the monkeys more often.
The boys after taste testing the yummy cookies.

Movie night
Z's school had movie night and showed Mary Poppins. Z had so much fun. One Mom came up to me to see if her son could sit by Zadoc. She said her (five year old) son said, Zadoc is my best friend. I also witnessed two little girls squeal with delight when they say me then said, Zadoc is here! I continually am so happy that we decided to start school this year and that we chose Montessori. It is absolutely the best place for zadoc.

Mommy who?
Obviously the boys did not miss me at all on my night away...here are pictures from their beach afternoon on Monday.
New neighbors
Although we are so sad to see friend's marriages end, we are reaping some benefits. We have had two friends move onto our block with amazing tween daughters that love the boys. Both boys are loving the extra attention.

Birthday Party
Waiting for his friends to come. When we got there he said, "my party disappeared."
Opening his cool goggles from cousin Nalu.
The spread.
Angry Bird game set up.
Z breaking in the game.
Declan and Kaiwi, both boys love to eat. They will share a bond Kaiwi and Z will never have.
Z was having a blast jumping in with his friends. Notice he is the only one without a floaty. He is the youngest in his class and the only one at the party that can swim on his own.
The kiddos playing Angry Birds. I love the picture of Z talking to Zoe. I wonder what he was saying.
Declan having a good old time.
I asked Z why he was sitting down and he said he was resting.
Z got the first swing at the piñata.
All of his friends waiting their turn.
So cute, after the piñata comparing loot with his friends.
Per usual, our miserable attempt at a family picture.
Blowing out his candles.
Enjoying cake.
