New Changes: Declan started crawling two days into his 6th month. He had a 101 fever that day and just started motoring. He hasn't looked back. He crawls all around the house. He is interested in all of Z's toys and can entertain himself in the playroom for quite some time. He also can pull up to a stand on almost anything. He loves to crawl to our legs and pull up. Zadoc goes nuts because he is always pulling his leg hair. Declan also loves to eat, but not baby food. He grabs at whatever we are eating and happily eats the little bites we offer him. He is so above purees. ;) Declan is following in his brother's footsteps and is enjoying as much pool time as we provide. If brother is in before him, he crawls to the waters edge to hop in himself!
Declan and Z are definitely finding their brotherly love. Declan has always had it, but Z is starting to reciprocate. Z happily gives Declan a kiss every night when I say he is going to bed. Z is even starting to take turns with toys, which is huge.Today Declan was crying and Z came over and gave him a kiss on his head. It absolutely melts my heart.
We are still screwed up in the sleep department. We are trying though and hopeful he will stop waking a million times a night soon enough. We are trying a new system of sending Zade in to soothe him at times. It seems to work better since he knows Daddy doesn't have milk.
That is it for this month. We feel blessed everyday. These two kids are so great.
