8 Months Old

Four more months and he is a year!  Slow down time...slow down.  There isn't much to report this month in terms of development.  Declan hasn't started walking or standing on his own, he has just become extremely proficient at crawling and walking along the furniture. Declan is very independent. He plays on his on quite often. His favorite toys are the activity table, the water table, and the recorders. He likes loud noises and often bangs things on the hardwood floors. Declan and Z are very much buddies these days. Declan crawls to Z and Z is getting much better about sharing one toy with Declan (only one though!). They take a bath together every night and Declan loves to splash around in the tub. He is still super smiley and is happy most of the time. And he is still an eater! He wants to try everything. Unfortunately his good daytime eating habits have not made nights any easier. He is still waking up an average of four times a night.
