10 Month Update

After painting three coats on the kid's bathroom cabinets today, I barely realized it is Declan's 10 month birthday.  We did a quick photoshoot in the front yard while Z was sleeping.

It seems like yesterday I was writing our nine month update.  Honestly, not much has changed this month.  I am glad to be able to report that Declan is still the happiest baby ever.  Zadoc came home from a trip to the store with Declan today and said all the women there always come and give him kisses and all talk about how happy he is.  He seems to win fans where ever he goes.  Developmentally not much has happened.  He is super chatty with lots of mamamama, dadadadada, and squeals.  I am shocked to say that Z actually walked before Declan.  It is the wildest thing.  He is SOOO steady on his feet, but just doesn't really take voluntary steps.  He can stand on his own, pick things up while standing, and wave his arms all around, but isn't sure enough to take steps yet.  He seems to be a wild one, but maybe this is an indication that he will be more cautious then Z.  Speaking of Z, they are still becoming buddies.  When I tell Z that Declan is awake from his nap Z goes running into Declan's room.  Declan continues to follow Z all around the house and tries to steal his toys, much to Z's annoyance.  The best news of the month is that Declan finally learned to nap.  Just yesterday he took two naps that were two hours each!  He still wakes up three times a night so we need to focus on that now. 

That is it for this month!  We are loving every single minute of this sweet boy.
