Auntie Em

Z's teacher sent him home with a book about death. After we read it I asked if he understood where Auntie Em was. He said in the sky and then told me she needed a parachute to land at our house. If only it was that easy. 

We went out to Haliimaile General Store for Hayd's birthday. Hayd requested that we all wear blue. I am guessing this was her 7th birthday. 

This has long been a favorite picture of Jb, Em, and I. It was long before Zade and I were together. I think we were on our way to dinner at Jb's parents. Em was driving and I think there was a rainbow behind us that we were trying I capture. 

Em was not a morning person. However, she was happy to be up way before dawn to cheer Zadoc on for run to the sun. This was taken in March '08, shortly after we started dating.
