Keawaiki- Celebrating Emalia

The magic of Keawaiki held true once again.  We had an amazing weekend remembering and celebrating Emalia.  The kids had an absolute blast playing with cousins and new friends.  Z says his highlights were fishing and playing on the blue float in the ocean.

JB handed out flowers and Em's ashes.  We were each able to spread them at a location that meant something to us.
Of course the kids grabbed my flowers, but that was OK with me.  I spent many hours lying on this beach with Em so it was a perfect spot to put our ashes.

JB, Kahala, and Zadoc spreading the bulk of the ashes.
 Good friends playing music.
Z catching fish in the pond.
 The whole gang.
Best Auntie and Uncle providing late night entertainment for all the cousins.
With four fireman on site, they decided to make a huge bonfire with the coconut fronds.  Z was a little overwhelmed and chose to stay back while Declan loved it.

The gorgeous pond at Keawaiki.
The boys chilling on the last day while we cleaned.
