We have been ridiculously casual about potty training b/c it is just too much to focus on while dealing with another baby. However, Z has always been leading the way with a keen awareness of when he needs to go potty. He has been running out to the yard to pee for months now. We have been putting him on the potty more often hoping it just clicks. Well, this morning he ran off and I went to find him when he didn't return after a bit. I found him just finishing going poop on the potty- no prompting needed. I am thankful for many things with Z and I will now add this to the list. I feel like he deserves 100% of the potty training credit. We are so lucky.
