School

We are two days away from Z starting school.  We went shopping and got his rain jacket, garden shoes, wash cloths, mug for the classroom, lunch pail, and nap mat.  We went to parent night, I helped clean the classroom, and Z met his teachers.  Now all we can do is cross our fingers and hope the transition goes smoothly.  At meet the teacher night Z was very hesitant.  He did love the fish tank and was super stoked about the "park" attached to the classroom.  Each of the primary (what they call their preschool) classrooms has its own fenced in play area.  Z was most excited about that and had a hard time b/c the teacher doesn't want them out there until she explains the rules.  She isn't planning on opening the play area until day 2- that makes me nervous about day 1.  We will see how it goes!
